Refund Policy

Overview
At Stalletjie we want you to be completely satisfied. This policy sets out the terms under which subscription fees may be refunded. All amounts are in South African Rand (ZAR) and all payments are processed by Paystack.
Free for Event Organisers
Event organisers can list events, review applications and contact stallholders at no cost. There is nothing to refund — if the platform isn't a fit for you, simply stop using it or close your account from your dashboard.
Stallholder Subscription
Stallholders pay R199 per year for full access (stall profile, event matching, applications and direct contact with organisers). Subscriptions are billed annually via Paystack and renew automatically until cancelled.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time stallholder subscribers. If Stalletjie isn't right for you, request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment and we'll process it — no awkward questions.
To qualify:
- You must be a first-time paying stallholder
- The request must be made within 7 days of the initial payment
- Email us from the address linked to your account
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. When you cancel:
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the current annual billing period
- You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods
- No pro-rata refund is given for unused time after the 7-day guarantee period
- Your account reverts to limited (free) access once the period ends
Refunds May Be Granted For
- Technical issues caused by us that prevented you from using the Service for a material part of the billing period
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Exceptional circumstances at our discretion
Refunds Are Not Granted For
- Requests made after the 7-day money-back window (for first-time subscribers)
- Partial-year usage after cancellation
- Change of mind after the guarantee period
- Fewer event matches, fewer bookings or lower sales than you hoped for — Stalletjie cannot guarantee outcomes
- Disputes with event organisers (e.g. cancelled or rained-out events, stall fee refunds, on-site logistics) — these are between you and the organiser
- Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms of Use
Stall Fees & Disputes Between Users
Stalletjie does not collect stall fees, deposits or commissions on bookings made between stallholders and organisers. Those are arranged and paid directly between the two parties. We cannot refund or mediate stall fees — please raise those directly with the organiser and refer to their own published cancellation policy. See our Terms of Use for the full position.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@stalletjie.co.za
- Use the email address linked to your Stalletjie account
- Tell us briefly why you're requesting a refund
- Include the Paystack reference from your receipt if you have it
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Paystack within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.
Consumer Protection
This Refund Policy is subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa). Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital-services contract. By starting your subscription and accessing premium features immediately, you expressly request that performance begins during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. Refunds outside this period are handled under this Refund Policy.
